Sophia Avramides

Sophia (she/they) is above all a student of the cosmos, weaving together all she has learned to create a magnificent tapestry of healing through her Hellenistic upbringing, training in Ayurveda and yoga philosophy, deep studies and experiences with herbalism, and her proclivity for self-study, connectivity + authentic truth. Sophia is a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor with 5+ years of one-on-one counseling experience. She is the founder of Avraveda, a highly-revered herbal apothecary that holds micro-batch and seasonal herbal remedies. Firmly determined to empower community through knowledge and embodiment, Sophia has led 200+ hours of workshops on self-study, Ayurvedic philosophy, self-care practices, and intuitive plant medicine practices. She has co-facilitated multiple international retreats - offering her teachings in colorful cultural landscapes and places. She continues to broaden, expand and welcome the interplay of knowledge, experience, ancient magic, and study to enrich the soil of her offerings to the world.
